The best way to learn and improve your PSP skills is to practice, practice and then practice some more! The thing to remember, though, is that practice should be FUN! In keeping with this thought, we have a few on-going games and activities that will not only help you to learn, but will also help you in acquiring a wide variety of PSP resources, including tubes, plug-ins and more. EVERYONE is encouraged to participate in these activities! PSP Challenges include... Weekly PSP Tutorial Challenge Each Saturday night, a new Challenge is posted on the General board. Each Challenge consists of approximately 4 PSP tutorials, ranging in difficulty from beginner to intermediate. This is not only a FUN Challenge, but is a great way to learn a lot of new techniques! A complete listing of past Tutorial Challenges can be found in the PSP Tube Challenge This Challenge is great FUN! Each week, a new Tube Challenge is posted on the General board. Each challenge consists of approximately 3 tubes to be used in any way you choose. You may use one or all of the tubes/graphics in completing the challenge and may add other tubes/graphics with it as well. You may also use any built-in PSP Effects and/or Plug-In Effects that you choose. The point of this challenge is to have FUN and at the same time to spark some creativity. We love seeing what everyone comes up with, and we always end up learning from one another. So don't miss out. Come check it out on the General board. A complete listing of past Tube Challenges can be found in the Approved Artist Challenge Each Tuesday, a new Approved Artist Challenge is posted on the General board. Each Challenge features two or three selected works from one of our Approved Artists. The 'challenge' is for you to show us what you can do with them.* *Note: Though these Artists have granted permission to ASoTS members for the use of their work, it is still extremely important that we adhere to each Artist's individual copyright Terms. Scavenger Hunt This is, as the name suggests, more of a 'game' than a 'challenge'...although, there is a certain degree of challenge involved. Each day, a new Scavenger Hunt is posted on the General board. The person posting the challenge will decide on the 'subject' of the hunt. (Examples of some recent hunt subjects are, Insects, Berries, Money, and Wizards.) Other members then go 'hunting' for items fitting that hunt's subject, and then post them to the Hunt thread. This is not only fun, but is a great way for all of us to expand our tube/graphics collections! We do our best to respect the artists of all of the tubes/graphics that we use.. In keeping with our respect of Copyrights, we do have a few Scavenger Hunt 'Rules'. These rules are simple, and can be found at the beginning of each Scavenger Hunt thread. Please be sure to read them before participating in a Hunt.
